Proud to Be

A poem beyond becoming and into loving

She lives here

With memories tucked

Away in the back pocket

Of jeans that no longer

Fit

Her

But now memories

Stick the pants

To a self

Lisa is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who developed a course on Identity- “Who Are You 101”, and one on relationship to self called “Go Friend Yourself”.

She is also a trained Equine Facilitated Wellness practitioner and is the co-founder of Humanity Academy as well as a content creator, educator, artist, poet, mother, and lover of horses. Sometimes she still gets on colts, just for the heck of it.
